Soma cannot be prescribed if the patient is allergic to carisoprodol. It is advisable that you use the medication for a shorter period to avoid addiction.

The most appropriate dosage for this drug is 250 mg to 350 mg for three times a day. It should be taken for duration of two to three weeks. This drug is not recommendable for children under twelve years of age. Incase of over dose seek medical attention as soon as possible.
